A New Shape of Silver

Silver Lining

Silver Lining jewelry is made from PMC (Precious Metal Clay) which is fine silver (.999) mixed with a water-soluble binder to create a clay-like consistency. This material is molded, shaped, textured, and assembled into the final design. The material is then dried, sanded, filed, and then kiln fired. The high heat of the kiln burns off the binder, leaving behind only the fine silver. Several steps of tumble polishing and hand polishing are done, then the finished product has sterling silver findings attached such as a neckchain or earring hooks.
